Standard Forms

Writing a number in a standard form is expressing a very large or a very small number in the form of  $$a\times { 10 }^{ n }$$ where  0 < a < 10 and n is an integer.

For example consider a large number $$2383638938.35$$ can be expressed in standard from as $$2.38363893835×10^{9}$$. Which can be rounded off to 3 significant figure as $$2.38×10^{9}$$.

Also consider a small number consider $$0.0003728923$$ can be expressed in standard from as $$3.728923×10^{-4}$$. Which can be rounded off to 3 significant figure as $$3.73×10^{-4}$$.
